Rock Penstemon

Rock Penstemon (Penstemon baccharifolius) is a striking perennial native to central and west Texas, extending into Chihuahua, Mexico. Known for its vibrant cherry-red tubular flowers that bloom from April through October, this hardy plant attracts hummingbirds and adds a splash of color to any garden. Growing up to 20 inches tall, it features dark-green, thick, toothed leaves that enhance its visual appeal. Rock Penstemon thrives in well-drained limestone soils, making it ideal for xeriscaping.
